DMM Shield Quickdraw
The Shield Quickdraw utilizes DMMs one-of-a-kind Wirelock design to allow super-easy clipping in the most desperate situations. The Wirelock gate has low mass to keep it from fluttering open in a fall, and the keylock notch makes clipping and unclipping far easier than with standard carabiners. Though the Shield Quickdraw is great for sport and trad climbing, the freeze-proof gates and water-repellant Dyneema sling also make it ideal for ice and alpine climbing. DMM made this quickdraw out of aluminum for a low weight of 2.7oz, so it wont weigh down your harness when you start up the ninth long pitch of the day.
