The Beal Booster III 9.7mm Climbing Rope is an excellent high-performance line for sport and trad climbers. Its skinny diameter helps it slide easily to reduce rope drag and allow easy, fast clipping. The Booster III is also dry-coated to keep it from absorbing water if it rains, and increase its life by protecting the sheath. Beal gave this rope a center mark to aid in setting up rappels, and letting the belayer know that he has not passed the halfway point, and his partner can still be lowered to the ground.
